This conference draws together faculty members, researchers and education professionals from various fields within education and provide them with the opportunity to interact with colleagues from the same field as well as other, related fields. An additional goal of the conference is to provide a place for academicians and professionals with cross-disciplinary interests related to education to meet and interact with members inside and outside their own particular disciplines. Cross-disciplinary submissions are particularly encouraged as is participation by international scholars. Due to the interdisciplinary nature of the meeting, presenters are able to receive feedback from researchers from a different subfield, often bringing up ideas or concepts that might otherwise be overlooked in a subject specific silo. Since it is a presenter’s conference, we strongly encourage people to attend the different sessions throughout the conference.
A previous conferences was held in Vancouver. Future conferences will be held in Orlando and Las Vegas. We have held Civic Education specific conferences in New Orleans, Reno, Orlando, and Nashville. Future Education Research Conferences are scheduled for Orlando and Las Vegas
